I am an Accredited Driving Instructor with more than 15 years of professional driving experience as a Heavy Vehicle Operator with an MC licence (you know… the massive trucks that go up and down the highway). Over the years, I've seen almost every crazy thing that can happen on the road, which is why I'm so passionate about road safety and defensive driving.
The one thing you will see from my reviews is that I am "super chill". I am very calm and have a professional approach which helps learners feel comfortable, supported, and confident behind the wheel.
Learning to drive is a big step, whether you're a teenager or a young adult gaining independence. For adult students who, for whatever reason, have not gained their licence yet, I thrive on helping you finally reach that previously unattainable goal. As a parent or guardian, you want to know your learner is in safe, capable hands, and I can promise you that.
My lessons are clear, relaxed, and easy to follow. I like using simple whiteboard sketches and written notes to break down driving skills, road rules, manoeuvres, and what to expect on test day. Students can also share these notes with their parents or guardians, so everyone knows what we're working on and can keep practising safely between lessons.
My wife Jacqui and I have raised three daughters and a son, so we understand the concerns parents and carers have when a young person is learning to drive. As locals, we have strong knowledge of the Moreton Bay test areas and routes, which helps students become familiar with the roads, traffic conditions, and driving situations they may experience on test day.
Jacqui and I share the same goal: to help learners become safe, confident, and capable drivers for life—not just for the test.
